Island Adventure

Since my first year in university, I’ve heard about the annual parade & picnic held by Ryerson on Centre Island in Toronto. I never made the time to attend this concert until my fifth year though. At first I didn’t have the friends I wanted to go with & in later years I had classes I needed to attend but on Friday it finally happened.

In Defense of Drake

Last night I found myself in the midst of a conversation that I’ve heard one too many times. Is the most notable hip-hop artist to ever come out of my city a sell-out? I won’t rehash the entire debate, but I’ll outline my point again with the hope that I won’t have to repeat myself any time soon.

1 Love T.O.

I’d call that a successful weekend. I got to sleep & spend time with people I enjoy spending time with. I’m still not sure why everyone seems to think that I’ve been drunk/high since last Wednesday, but whatever. This feels like the longest I’ve been able to sustain a good vibe in weeks, so maybe I’m not handling it as well as I could be. Smiles are smiles though & I take them where I can get them. On Friday, I finally caught up to one that I’ve been chasing for a while.

Ladies & Gentleman, we have an adventure on our hands! I need to get from Ryerson, to the CBC building, to my train… in 45 mins. Showtime!—
